Two Column Arts Agency illustrators have made it to the Secret Walls X Birmingham final.
Old-boy Trou will be taking on Column newby Joel Millerchip in this illustration war, which takes place Saturday 6 September 2014.
Both artists had to beat-off stiff opposition to get through to the final. Trou defeated former champion Foka Wolf and fishy customer Powis. Meanwhile, Joel was victorious over Chunxx and his Brothers Of The Stripe compatriot, Mr The Beef.
Speaking via his Instagram, Trou said: “There’ll be no love lost between me and fellow column artist @mrmillerchip on Saturday! Get down there and see the gloves come off. #allsfairinloveandwall.”
The final is being held as part of lifestyle festival Sneaks&Peaks’s after party between 9pm and 1am at Boxxed in Digbeth, Birmingham.
Sneaks&Peaks, also situated in the Boxxed warehouse, exhibits hard-to-find limited edition sneakers, leading urban fashion brands, street art, street food vendors, and it will also be showcasing acts from Birmingham’s ground-breaking music scene.
Column Arts Agency will be curating a Sneak-o-Matic booth for the event. Sneaks&Peaks attendees will be able to have their portrait created by Column’s amazing illustrators, including Trou and Joel. Incredible illustrator Sonny Ross, who created this image, is also getting involved.
With the illustrators situated behind a one-way screen, Sneak-o-Matic users will get the chance to commission their favourite artists to do a bespoke portrait of them.
Come down to experience the Sneaks&Peaks vibe and get some personal one-of-a-kind illustration for a minimum donation of just £5.
